Renovation (almost)Completed...I've been busy for the past weeks with various stuff... mainly work and the reno work at my new place. Not that I have to physically help out, but just travelling there after work every day to check on how things are coming along.. it's exhausting. I was on the way home from the wake last night to pick up my vacuum cleaner. Found a lady outside of my toa payoh flat knocking on the door... turns out she was looking for donations for the heart foundation... as I was rushing to get back out after picking up the vacuum, I had her tell me whatever she had to say (making sure I don't come across as being rude) whilst I scrambled for my vacuum. Alas I whipped out my NRIC and credit card for her to jot down the details... as such, I'm officially 40 bucks poorer each month. But hey, look on the bright side... I get some income tax rebate? relief? watever it is...
and so I digress... yet again.back to the reno, it's pretty much done up. My aunt's maid had started cleaning up. What's left is the kitchen... the old hob is still lying around... think by today, the place is good to go. I won't be moving in so soon. The place is practically empty. Need to get myself beds, sofa, tv, another tv, stereo? tables, shelf... man the list goes on... and the migranes keep coming back. Taking a break today... going to town possibly for a movie. but more importantly to get new stuff... I need new stuff... clothes, bed linens, what-nots.

Haven't had much to blog about lately. Been keeping myself occupied in the gym / b.ball practice / catching b.ball matches on Sats / work / power naps / crunchy rolling / looking up Mika on wikipedia. Despite feeling healthier overall, I've been having on and off headache (mostly when I'm at work) coupled by dizziness. On a totally different note, I'm thinking of picking up Jap lessons... so gotta sort out my finances and time. For some reason, I'm really into the whole jap thing lately... (re)watching Jap dramas, listening to J-Pop, Karaoke-ing to J-Pop with Romanji subtitles, and now I wanna pick up the language. I think it's all good... Man I wanna go Japan for holidays soon.... I miss Nippon... it's been a while.
