Let looseIt's been such a long while since I have nothing to do at work. Last Friday, I had my teleconference with the UK collaborator. They were happy with the results and all... but the next steps are still
inconclusive, which leaves me with nothing to do till we talk through it again on Wednesday. It also sucks that Wooxy's on MC whole of this week to get her lasik done. Good luck babe... though when you're reading this, you're probably back at work already. It's so quiet in the office... can hear the humming sound of my PC from the other end of the room. My neighbour's sleeping.. maybe I should too.
So here's a quick recap on the weekend.
FridayFinished teleconference and left work at 5PM. Was actually really tired from the telecon but gave Mona a call anyway... Picked her and Liah up and headed over to Sembawang to visit Sharinah. Stopped by at NTUC to pick up some ingredients to cook up a little something for the host. Left her place at ~10PM and headed to Suntec to let Liah off and pick SukFart up where we proceeded to meet Rae at Bugis for Ocean's 13. Thanks babe for the free movie (if you even read this). Sent Rae home, but not before stopping by some kopitiam for kopi-time.... much needed kopi-break. Can't recall the rest of the day.... did we stop by McDs?? Was it that night?
SaturdayWoke up ~3PM and met SukFart for Mani+Pedi @5.45I-ish. Parking was a nightmare @ Far East but what to do to save on ERP.... Hopped over to Lido and got tickets for 10.40PM screening of Shrek3. Was late for Mani+Pedi but what the hell right? Hmm didn't do anything much... walked left right centre and then met up with FartEd. By then it was ~10PM. Slowly made our way to Lido and bought our large Rootbeer to share.
The movie was hilarious..... well at least the 3 of us thought it was funny... The rest of the people either lacked sense of humour or just didn't get it. Like FartEd said, It's good to be in the know... hah. Spoke to a friend on MSN.. it's been a while since we chatted... learnt from her that she needed a guy.... something along the lines of needing a guy, but not wanting one. Well, hope that works out for you! And the same goes out to all you people out there waiting for the day you'll find your 白马王子.
SundayWoke up ~3PM. Called SukFart & FartEd to see if they were up for Crabs @ Mellben AMK. Tried to jio some others but they couldn't make it... (some other time then) It's been a while since I've eaten those fleshy, yet juicy claws......... pincer if you'll like. FartEd was so engrossed that she sliced her thumb eating crabs.... hah... I would post the pic here but it's with FartEd. Am amazed by how much SukFart could stuff her face... amazed but not surprised. Hung out a while longer before I headed home in anticipation of my new BMB Ktv system!! By the time I reached home, the delivery guys were already waiting outside my door.
FartEd+SukFart> Going to the carwash isn't the only way to get attention from drenched men... You can always purchase something from Audiohouse and get it delivered. *wink*Gross. Anyway, The BMB system and I hit it off right away... we were like 2 peas in a pod.. no no.. better... we're like bonnie and clyde.. ok at this point I forgive you for calling me crazy... but I'm just ecstatic... been eyeing the KTV system for the longest time.. now that i've layed my hands on them... muahahaha... It comes with 2 wireless mics so I can go to the loo with door opened and still sing (says FartEd). Now it's time to find more KTV DVDs... so Ciao for now... Plus now, I havea DVD player in the living room.. hurray!
