Met Mona, Sha, Ismail and Salina (?) at Apollo for KTV at 8. After which we proceeded to Kim Seng area for supper at spize. Night was still young, so we headed over to Toa Payoh, I got changed and we all headed over to Braddell to attend Lauren's Granny's wake. Stayed there and lepak around whilst Sha checked out the colourful selection of blankets on display. I must say, the wake was much more 热闹 than most... Lots of chatting going on at all tables. Plus mahjong and card games going on at the other area. An hour or two later, I sent Mona, Salina and Lauren (who needed to go home for a shower) back to AMK.
(Sorry... had to mention something totally irrelevant. The past few nights, I dreamt of my grandma... no she did not give me the combination to 4D.... but she did ask me to eat the chicken wings she left for me in the kitchen... haha and funnily, I went to check in the morning if there was chicken wing on the table.... (Gah.. and i'm supposedly scientific and skeptical when it comes to things like that..)
Anyway, got home at 6am on Sat morning. Slept till about 12am, cleaned the house a bit... then went to TPY central with Lauren. Had stuff to buy. I don't rem what I did but Sat passed me by at the blink of an eye... oh ya!! I got really addicted to this anime.. called law of ueki. it's sorta like hunter x hunter.. and i really like that kinda story line. It's not as good as hunter tho i must admit. ok beside the point. At about 2am??? went over to the wake.. sent lauren, her bro and her cousin to AMK (lauren showered... again.) Her bro decided to stay home to catch soccer (between woodlands and yishun... *haha* no... not really.) whilst the 3 of us went lepaking in McD's drive-thru at AMK. Stayed till around 4am... before we headed back to Braddell... and then me went home to watch more of my anime.... OH!! I DID MY LAUNDRIES THAT DAY TOO... *applause* Slept at about 6am as well
Woke up at 10am the next day... felt groggy... showered and got dressed to head over to AMK for K Lunch with Mona, Clara, Weiling and Kamaliah(? - who now has a pic of me and ekin on her phone's wallpaper - go figure...) at the new Kbox Plaza. K session was great... better than Friday I thought... maybe cos it wasn't as smoky at Kbox... Proceeded to Banquet for some food before heading over to
The Wine Company at Dempsey Road with Mona, Clara and Weiling. It was a good drinking session... crapped about... well, crap. Stayed there for quite a while... had a bottle of white (German - Gewürztraminer Spätlese 2005 )
and a bottle of Red (New Zealand - Nevis Bluff Pinot Noir 2003). The white wine was quite yummy... I know yummy is not a very technical wine description... but nevertheless, it was yummy. Clara, Weiling and I each bought a bottle of that very same white wine home. Took a very short walk around the area to sober up. Left at about 7.30pm... Sent Weiling to her dinner place and headed to AMK where we were suppose to meet Sha.. let Clara off at bus stop and headed to the McD's drive thru (again.. i know) to wait for Sha... at this point, the poor girl was still waiting for a cab... so we smsed her to meet us at my place instead. So Mona and I drove back to TPY, grabbed some dinner for the 3 of us and then headed back to my place. We ate... and then I concussed whilst Mona and Sha caught an episode of Grey's on my PC... followed by Ugly Betty on my Tele. I was really tired for some reason... (i think it's cos i slept at 6 and woke up at 10 and spent the whole day out...) Anyway, I slept through the night and woke up 6.30 this morning... took me an hour to get to work in the rain...Hope you guys don't get caught in the rain.... stay dry! =P
