I'm finally over with the stress period......... no more teleconference till June probably!! And Mona's (finally) gotten her visa approved!! Calls for celebration don't you think?
Met Mona at Wheelock... had fish&co for dinner. Then proceeded to meet Lauren at F21 where she said "I'm paying...." or was it "I'm Pei Yee" I can't tell, cause when we stepped into F21, she seemed to be browsing still... Anyway, made a few stops here and there whilst Lauren picked up bits and pieces .. We left Orchard at ~ 9.45 and headed to PS cafe @ Dempsey.
We (actually THEY) ordered a cake each and a portion of chunky fries... Mona claimed that she can SO finish her cake.. brownie... whatever... Turned out we couldn't finish any of the three we had ordered.
This is what happens when you can't finish your food... and when you're bo liao. Do you see the resemblance?
Got home around 12.... slept not too soon after... woke up this morning at 8.15.... SHIOK! I should do this more often! =)

Met Mona, Sha, Ismail and Salina (?) at Apollo for KTV at 8. After which we proceeded to Kim Seng area for supper at spize. Night was still young, so we headed over to Toa Payoh, I got changed and we all headed over to Braddell to attend Lauren's Granny's wake. Stayed there and lepak around whilst Sha checked out the colourful selection of blankets on display. I must say, the wake was much more 热闹 than most... Lots of chatting going on at all tables. Plus mahjong and card games going on at the other area. An hour or two later, I sent Mona, Salina and Lauren (who needed to go home for a shower) back to AMK.
(Sorry... had to mention something totally irrelevant. The past few nights, I dreamt of my grandma... no she did not give me the combination to 4D.... but she did ask me to eat the chicken wings she left for me in the kitchen... haha and funnily, I went to check in the morning if there was chicken wing on the table.... (Gah.. and i'm supposedly scientific and skeptical when it comes to things like that..)
Anyway, got home at 6am on Sat morning. Slept till about 12am, cleaned the house a bit... then went to TPY central with Lauren. Had stuff to buy. I don't rem what I did but Sat passed me by at the blink of an eye... oh ya!! I got really addicted to this anime.. called law of ueki. it's sorta like hunter x hunter.. and i really like that kinda story line. It's not as good as hunter tho i must admit. ok beside the point. At about 2am??? went over to the wake.. sent lauren, her bro and her cousin to AMK (lauren showered... again.) Her bro decided to stay home to catch soccer (between woodlands and yishun... *haha* no... not really.) whilst the 3 of us went lepaking in McD's drive-thru at AMK. Stayed till around 4am... before we headed back to Braddell... and then me went home to watch more of my anime.... OH!! I DID MY LAUNDRIES THAT DAY TOO... *applause* Slept at about 6am as well
Woke up at 10am the next day... felt groggy... showered and got dressed to head over to AMK for K Lunch with Mona, Clara, Weiling and Kamaliah(? - who now has a pic of me and ekin on her phone's wallpaper - go figure...) at the new Kbox Plaza. K session was great... better than Friday I thought... maybe cos it wasn't as smoky at Kbox... Proceeded to Banquet for some food before heading over to The Wine Company at Dempsey Road with Mona, Clara and Weiling. It was a good drinking session... crapped about... well, crap. Stayed there for quite a while... had a bottle of white (German - Gewürztraminer Spätlese 2005 )
and a bottle of Red (New Zealand - Nevis Bluff Pinot Noir 2003). The white wine was quite yummy... I know yummy is not a very technical wine description... but nevertheless, it was yummy. Clara, Weiling and I each bought a bottle of that very same white wine home. Took a very short walk around the area to sober up. Left at about 7.30pm... Sent Weiling to her dinner place and headed to AMK where we were suppose to meet Sha.. let Clara off at bus stop and headed to the McD's drive thru (again.. i know) to wait for Sha... at this point, the poor girl was still waiting for a cab... so we smsed her to meet us at my place instead. So Mona and I drove back to TPY, grabbed some dinner for the 3 of us and then headed back to my place. We ate... and then I concussed whilst Mona and Sha caught an episode of Grey's on my PC... followed by Ugly Betty on my Tele. I was really tired for some reason... (i think it's cos i slept at 6 and woke up at 10 and spent the whole day out...) Anyway, I slept through the night and woke up 6.30 this morning... took me an hour to get to work in the rain...Hope you guys don't get caught in the rain.... stay dry! =P
Today is International Disadvantaged People's Day. Please send an encouraging message to a retarded friend... just as I've done. I don't care if you lick windows, screw farm animals, take the short bus or occasionally shit yourself...You hang in there sunshine, you're fucking special!

I am sick and tired of measuring length of crystals!!!
I had to stare into this screen the whole morning... my eyes hurt and at this rate, I think I WILL go blind.
Saw this mini tornado thingy slightly short of 1 metre tall, outside of the lab today. Mona reckons it's a sign that I should go Tasmania for holiday (tasmanian devil... tornado...) Anyway, working life sucks to the core. I'm just bored... everyone has either left, tendered and about to leave, or thinking about leaving.. Sians 1/2.

today was my department's retreat and since there were a lot of new comers, my boss thought it would be a great idea to hire professionals for team building exercises.
Schedule for the day: 7.00 a.m - Wake up, shower, brush teeth 7.30 a.m - Meet Angeline below my block 7.35 a.m - Drive out towards destination (Prince George Park in NUS) 8.05 a.m - Arrived at PGP a tad too early. Went to the food court for some breakfast. No aircon... almost suffocated 8.20 a.m - Bosses joined us at our table for breakfast 8.25 a.m - Boss #1's phone rang ; it was the people we hired... they were gonna be late. 9.00a.m - Strolled down to the seminar room that we booked and settled down. Wrote my name on the sticker... (wtf? Everyone knows my name already....I'm the loud one.) 9.05a.m till 12 p.m - I have no idea what happened 12 p.m - I start wondering what the queue's like at IMM for Mayday concert tickets... complains to colleagues that I should have not come to team building and went to queue for good concert seats instead. *whines* 1 p.m - Played lots of games that involved making ridiculous motions and noises... was not at all amusing.... especially having it all recorded on video. Dozed off from time to time... 5.30 p.m - Drove colleagues to nearest MRT and then myself down to IMM in hopes of getting Mayday concert tickets. 6 p.m - Arrived at IMM. Happy about the free parking. Went down to level 3 to see a bunch of people waiting for Mayday to arrive. Proceeded to level 1 sistic only to find a long and twisted queue. As I was about to join the queue, I overheard a sistic staff tell another group of girls that there is no more queueing for Mayday concert (which I then read on Mayday's Singapore official website that they have restricted to selling about 50% of the $148 tickets today... bloody sistic staff bluff me... she told me that by today should have sold out all tickets...knn.) 6.15 p.m - Proceeded to sistic counter and told the people that I'm there to collect my Phantom and Jacky Cheung tickets. The indian staff probably thought I was lying... he kept asking "you are sure you picking up phantom tickets ah? not this may, june whatever day tickets ah" WTF rite...? what you mean by may, june whatever day. I guess it's just a really stressful day for them ba... it's not everyday they have to deal with such crowds. 6.30 p.m - Loitered around to look look see see if Mayday were arriving 6.40 p.m - Adjourned to vehicle and departed home 7.20 p.m - Reached TPY, decided to go tapauMcDs. The char bor was mildly... how should I put it... "slow". 7.40 p.m - Reached carpark. Managed to park at ground level 7.45 p.m - Walked towards home. Neighbour greeted every so warm-heartedly. Some visitor / stranger came up to me and said "I knew your dad since he was a little boy... " I was so tired I almost replied with an awkward "thank you". I tend to do things like that huh... the condom incident with my mum.. and many others. 8.30 p.m - Showered 8.50 p.m - Here I am blogging away....
My day's been boring, but still I managed to fill up quite a bit. Now I'm just gonna set my alarm to wake up in time to purchase tickets 9 a.m tomorrow.
p.s: I feel like doing something impulsive tomorrow. We'll see.
OH.... DID I MENTION THE PROFESSIONALS MADE US SING "IF WE HOLD ON TOGETHER" AS A GROUP AT THE END OF THE TEAM BUILDING THING???? AS IF I HADN'T ALREADY HAVE A BAD ENOUGH DAY............. SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE THEM ARRESTED!!!!

I realised that I've spent more this whole month than I have 6 months put together when I was studying in HK.
Laptop - $3400-ish? Phantom Tickets - $137 Jacky Cheung Concert - $130 Mayday Concert - $150 (yet to purchase but more or less confirmed) Not to mention, petrol... killer man.
Alright I'm not complaining... just wanted to whine a little...
Went to watch "Nada Sou Sou" today starring SatoshiTsumabuki from Waterboys. Mona and I were laughing 3/4 of the movie, despite it being a sad sad movie. Mona almost had a tear until I said something I can't quite remember what. To cut the long story short, Mona was obsessed with the protagonists getting killed in a tsunami, whilst I chant away "when are they gonna fuck". It wasn't as much incest as I had anticipated but none the less. You should definitely wait for Mona to blog about it. There was this classic scene where the little girl looks 99.9% retarded.. and you should definitely watch this movie just for that scene. Mona and I both agreed that Satoshi lookede more and more Mahd throughout the movie... ruins the whole cute waterboy image I have of him... haha. I would just like to add that I'm really impressed that SQ is airing this movie on Krisworld since Feb... All in all, I'd give this movie 6.5 / 10.
Last but not least.... NEE NEE!!! (points to knee) *tee hee*
